It is now known that Alice Wood Roach, who passed away in the 1960s at the age of 84, is the only “Alice” buried in Sugar Hill Historic Cemetery. She had a daughter, also named Alice, who passed away in the 1920s at the young age of 16 and is buried at Duluth Church Cemetery. Could these two Alice’s be connected? It is possible!
