Eleven-year-old Josiah Malachi has achieved an extraordinary accomplishment with the recent launch of his debut book – “A Smoothie and Sauerkraut Life: The Shadowed Stranger”

Josiah Malachi is an 11-year-old author with an impressive accomplishment – his debut book, “A Smoothie and Sauerkraut Life: The Shadowed Stranger”, featuring the adventures of his three canine companions Copper, Maré and Fiyori. Nicknamed Mar and Yori respectively, the poodle, bernedoodle and goldendoodle embark on a daring mission to uncover a thief who has stolen from their owners. Josiah’s creative story is sure to entertain readers of all ages.

Drawing inspiration from his own family – mom, Lula, dad, Jerry, and brother, Eli, 5 – Josiah was only seven when he wrote his first full story. With the support of his father, Josiah has taken his love for reading and his vivid imagination to the next level by writing his own book.

It was with great joy and admiration that Josiah’s family watched him launch his book with a stunning success as he sold out of all 43 books at the Liberty Books in downtown Lawrenceville. It is an achievement they are proud of and express gratitude to God, family, and the supportive Gwinnett community.

Josiah beamed with pride as he reflected on the success of his book signing, having had the opportunity to meet potential readers. When asked about what’s next for Copper, Mar and Yori, Josiah spoke of his passion for international history and his ambition to become an inventor in the future. He hopes to take the dogs to new places stopping criminals around the world, but it is a leisurely pursuit. His family is immensely proud of his dedication and remarkable discipline in seeing his book project through to completion.
